No, I'm not using latitudes and longitudes. I'm using photoshop. I overlaid each map (location of the Sierra Leone and HDY info) on top of the base map showing the existing NWAAM and Sierra Leone siesmic and made them semi-transparent so I can line up the coastlines to scale and locate the information. I then trace the information on a new layer in photoshop and turn off the overlaid map. It's not perfect but it's pretty damned close, given the maps I have to work with.
As for the location of the HDY lease, I believe the old maps in some of the presentations show the retained lease stopping short of extending right to the edge of the orignal lease area.
This map is from a slightly older presentation. On this one I drew two lines originating from the Guinea/Sierra Leone boder. One parallels the orginal lease area. The 2nd one shows that the border of the retained area does not parallel a line extending out from the border. There is some discrepancy in depicitng the orginal lease area between the two maps.
The Sierra Leone block does appear to extend right to the edge of the boundary on the map I drew today. I do believe tdbowieknife is locating the well, lease area and Sierra Leone lease blocks on Google Earth. When he has that we'll see how accurate my portrayal is.
