I previously said (when Gingrich was at the top of the polls) that he was a political suicide bomber and would blow himself to smithereens. What's amazing is how many times he's managing to do it.

But the news gets even worse for Gingrich: Perry has now endorsed him.

This needs to be a 2-way race plus spoiler: Santorum for the religious right, Romney for the regular citizen and Paul as the spoiler to keep the other two honest. Paul will go right to the end and then hopefully run as an independent.

It's quite possible that Romney will lose to Obama with Paul being the deciding factor. Funny - it's usually the Dems who are in this position.

This recalls Ralph Nader's hilarious observation from the 2000 race: "...from my perspective, Al Gore cost ME the election..."
