does not always work, if you analyze a company and it is trading at a discount to its assets, it should be a buy.  If you wait for a turn, unexpected good news like take overs and asset sales will result on you missing the opportunity to make some very big gains in short periods of time.  How many are waiting for SCS or ARN or other stocks to turn the corner before buying any and will be disappointed if instead a take over occurs.  But just my thoughts.
