Paul, aren't we discussing several different things here. The 1099B reports proceeds from broker sales and also an entry into TTax schedule D. I believe the schedule D import from the broker needs to be deleted for several reasons. For one, besides usually being wrong, it is, in a way, redundant to the K-1 and secondly the profits from the sale of an MLP are not entirely recaptured as capital gains, as the broker import tends to imply.
