Re: Waiting for next financing/dilution
Like a lot of starts ups they survive and go on and on due to the "hype" whether ultra sincere or carefully munipulated by the CEO but the companies eventually go broke, however,I've always given DM the benefit of the doubt since there have been some close calls on something happening over the past years.. Just because the Cleveland Clinic is involved it doesn't mean "squat" with the FDA. The prestigious Cleveland Clinic is a commercial organization that will do studies in return for a substantial retainer for anyone who will pay the freight although they do screen the assignments that they take on. Best case, just because they may have great results doesn't mean that we'll get a partner as a Phase III is more of a probability than possibility without a partner, but that's only IMHO.
Bottom line, those of us who are gamblers continue to hold on, (not unlike those who play the lottery,) hoping against huge odds, that this time we'll strike gold.
We'll know next year at this time where we stand (probably after another round of financing with warrants that will probably eventually go underwater. But hey...."hope springs eternal" and it keeps us cautiously optimistic when a sliver of good news happens. In the meantime always sell on the rumor and buy back on the news as historically it works every time.
