Ameritrade on 12/23 put a small amount of money into my account on behalf of Dockwise with the notation "Cash Liquidation Dist".  I assume that was for the rights to which I, being in the US, couldn't subscribe.  If I'm wrong, will someone let me know so I can go further with this.  It isn't worth much time, but I'll need to know how to handle it on my taxes.
