I doubt legal fees are any BFD.

Also, I don't know if Oracle was looking for any big settlement.

I think Orcle was just joining forces with Apple, and Microsoft, to fight Google, and F/OSS.

Larry does not believe in F/OSS, but he bought a ton of it with Sun. Larry wants to monitize free software. Like a lot of companies, Oracle wants the software to be developed for free, but only Oracle can sell it. Same as the scox scam.

If you cannot monitize F/OSS, kill it with a flood of bogus lawsuits. That seems to be the strategy that a lot of companies are using.
