Re: Ludwig von Mises in "Human Action."

{{ Your comment is ad hominem so clearly you have no response to my thesis.}}

Obviously you don't know what a thesis is. That was no thesis.

{{Reading widely is one way to become educated.}}

True. However, if you only read what supports your opinion, that isn't educational.

{{I am going to recommend you read J S Mills's Essay on Liberty. }}

Tell you what, you read Harry Browne's "How I found Freedom in an Unfree World" and I'll read your recommendation. Think you can handle that?

{{The clash of opinions is important in the search for truth.}}

I doubt anyone knows the real truth, so a limited knowledge must suffice instead.

{{So tell me if you have an alternative to the Capitalist system. }}

Never gave it much thought. Why would I? What immediately comes to mind is a combination of 'systems' would possibly work well if tailored to the economic climate in whatever region was involved. What is appropriate for one country, or region, wouldn't necessarily be the best choice in another country or region. I'm reasonably well satisfied with the system we have here in Canada.

{{Learn to think for yourself instead of getting your opinions out of a book.}}

Absolutely. You might try to follow that advice.
