Not sure what you're looking at - short interest has been declining since the start of the year - stands at 5.2 million as of Feb 15 (per Nasdaq.com) with a 2.7 days to cover.  How it compares to other stocks - don't know where to find that, but find it hard to believe it is one of the most shorted stocks out there today.

 

Doesn't make sense to short Crox - incredible balance sheet, great cash position - and improving, strong sales growth.  As the economies of the world start improving, sales growth will increase.
