FWIW, I really don't believe that there will be much difference regardless of who is elected, as global issues will largely force America's hand into a very narrow range of possible actions; mostly bold talk with no action, or action pushed off into a distant future that everyone knows will simply be pushed back yet again when the time comes.

The days when America was free of global influences, and could pull itself, if not the entire world, out of an economic morass have long since passed. Politicians are no longer focused on fixing problems; they are focused on putting off total collapse until they are safely dead.
