I really think you mis-read the overall tone, or intent of the latter part of that thread. For me it started with Scout's question of trading logs and organization, following XO's deep examination of his long term results and how he got there.

Honestly, those sorts of things don't come from a need to do feather stroking, they come from a desire to do better.

One of the things I like most about this bd. is the multi name, multi strategy aspects about it.

I don't come here for stock picks, or bragging rights but to test my own thoughts and hopefully broaden them.

If it winds up sounding like bragging ... Well, we all are in search of what works and share the same but it isn't a rare thing for most of us to own up to a blunder.
