Yesterday when this happened I entered a limit buy order for a few thousand shares at $.58. I got a partial fill of less than 100 shares before the price moved higher. Cynic that I am, I think the market maker fed a few shares to me to be vindictive.
Now we see a bid for 17,400 sh. at $.57. So I think the market maker is driving the price lower so she can buy more shares on the cheap.
