Re: Why don't CB's RAISE rates?------financial repression transfers wealth from savers to debtors. Biggest debtor is US GOV,and very low/no yield to savors is the GOV's way to steal from the savers.
Europe apparently used it a lot, after WW2, to pay off their wartime debts.
Now the US GOV uses financial repression
