Re: GE is boosting its stock buyback programFriday's pin action was with doubt the most irrational display. We saw ever increasing volume and stock price up to about 20.37. Then all hell broke lose in the later afternoon. Immelt picked an absolutely terrible day to post these fine earnings. As so many other equities were being pounded, it looked like people were selling GE to cover heavy losses elsewhere.
