Cogent Communications Group, Inc. (CCOI) today announced service revenue of $76.9 million for the three months ended March 31, 2012, a decrease of 2.8% from $79.1 million for the three months ended December 31, 2011 and an increase of 4.7% over $73.5 million for the three months ended March 31, 2011.

On-net revenue was $56.8 million for the three months ended March 31, 2012, a decrease of 4.7% from $59.5 million for the three months ended December 31, 2011. On-net revenue was $56.8 million for the three months ended March 31, 2011. On-net service is provided to customers located in buildings that are physically connected to Cogent's network by Cogent facilities.
