Re: OT: So tell me again why we insisted on keeping insurance as our healthcare system?

PAC:

We really need to wind this down, okay?  This will be my last post on the topic.

I tried to explain what I had posted, in case it was not clear.  Your reply did not reference anything in my original post, or my clarification, but instead went into you "interpretation" of what I said...

> This is difficult for me to explain as you have an apparent problem in accepting anything else someone says if you have not experienced it.

You "assume" I  have a problem accepting anything I have not personally experienced.  I do not.

> You cannot claim something is not true because you have not personally seen it or experienced it

I never said anything was "not true" just because I have "not personally seen it or experienced it".

I did say:

"Just because we disagree does not make me wrong or you right... or vice versa."

I only said "we disagree".  I did not say you were wrong (or right).

if you have not lived in the poorer sections of a major US city, you should not decide that the problems I cited are not so because you have not seen or experienced them.

Where in this thread did I say anything about problems you cited in "the poorer sections of a major US city"?  Or where in this thread did you even "cite" that?

> Please don't feel that I'm "on your case" about this, I'm just trying to be objective...

Objective is good, but your "interpretation" of what I said is not really "objective."   You seem to "expect" me to say or imply something, so that is what you see.  Please take things for what they are, without "reading in" things to meet your expectations.  Please be objective.

Have a better day,

dti
