Why I like long call options............ AMD stock price up 5.28 percent AMD Call 7.50, Jan. 2013 up 18.44 percent. Cost of 1000 AMD shares $8,170 Cost of 10 contracts (1000 shares) stated above $1,620 Great leverage with greater potential gains. Not for everyone of course, but I do like the math.
