Re: Chamois: SEC starts CHK Inquiry

Why am I not shocked and surprised at this?
"Whittemore, who worked for more than 20 years at Wall Street giant Morgan Stanley and its predecessors, was chairman of the American Stock Exchange from 1982 to 1984, according to a biography compiled by Forbes."
Just goes to prove that there's more than one set of rules to play by in the investing world.
I'm scratching my head on the pps action between CHK and CHKR. One would assume, all things considered, that CHKR is a 'safer' investment - yet while CHK snapped back today after an ugly opening CHKR muddled along closing with a loss.
Could it be someone is doing a pairs trade with the two?
Life would be so easy if all we had to do was read the G/L, and balance and cash-floor statements in order to make 'informed' decisions.
