I just meandered over here for the 1st time in weeks.  Wow!  What mean spirited statements from some.   I have a suggestion for whatever it's worth, not important to me but may be of value to others.

 

You need to have someone step forward & monitor this board.  Since we already have so many Canadian investing boards & a good one for MLP's, I would suggest it be run by someone in the U.S. who's oriented toward "income investing" with a relatively low risk profile.   I was going to suggest that some good posts on preferreds be included but that board "Silicon Investor" seems to be getting the job done well.

 

I would also suggest the board only be seen by those who are approved by the monitor.   I have no particular interest in any Canadian holdings unless: (1) it's another Whiterock Reit which we did so well with, or (2) it's dual listed in the U.S. like AT & STB are.   As most of you know, dealing with pink sheets is a major pain in the arse.

 

If not, no problem.  It's not important to me as I spend what little time I have available mostly on another private board.   I hope all of you in the U.S. had a blessed Independence Day.
