The drybulk stocks will most likely move (up) before freightrates go up. Investors will buy the stocks while they are cheap. Once freightrates have risen and stocks have followed, there is little reason to invest in these equities.
Golden Ocean's earnings will go up regardless since we have a dozen vessels joining the fleet between now and the end of Q1 2013. Now if rates are higher at that time we could be in for a real Bonanza...More vessels at higher rates = higher earnings = higher price per share and divies again!!
But we have to be patient for a while...Now or next quarter would be a good time to aquire additional shares.
